Why I am standing

I was born and raised in Lewis where I still live today, I love our islands and I’m standing for election to be a strong voice for our communities in Edinburgh. 

From the ferry crisis to declining public services, our islands need change. In May we have a chance to vote for a different future by electing me as your MSP and a Scottish Labour Government to fix the SNP’s mess and get the basics right.
